Dr. Dan Kramer (CEO) Dan received his PhD in Molecular Biology and graduated as biochemist at Humboldt University, Berlin. He is a serial entrepreneur and was cofounder of Cyano Biotech GmbH in 2004 and of Cyano Biofuels in 2007. Dan has worked with cyanobacteria since his diploma thesis in 1999 with a focus on the molecular biology and genetics of the biosynthesis of non-ribosomal peptides and polyketides. He is inventor or co-inventor of several patents related to cyanobacteria. |

Dr. Heike Enke (CSO)
Heike received her PhD in Biology and graduated as biologist at Humboldt University, Berlin. She is a serial entrepreneur and like Dan cofounded Cyano Biotech GmbH in 2004 and Cyano Biofuels in 2007. Heike has been involved in cyanobacterial research since 1999. Her main focus was on combinatorial biosynthesis and heterologous expression systems in bacterial production strains. Heike participated in several inventions and patents in the field of cyanobacteria. |

Dr. Torsten Schwecke (Business Development)
Torsten
Schwecke received his PhD in Biochemistry in 1993 after he graduated as
biochemist at the Technical University, Berlin. Together with Heike and Dan he
is a cofounder of Cyano Biotech GmbH. Torsten has been working in the field of
natural products research for 25 years, mainly on non-ribosomal peptide
production in actinomycetes, fungi and cyanobateria. During his postdoc he
worked for 6 years on polyketide biosynthesis with Professor P. F. Leadlay in
Cambridge, UK.
